A family's dream of a fresh start aboard a salvaged ship curdles into terror as the vessel reveals a will — and a darkness — of its own.
David (Gary Oldman), a struggling blue-collar captain, purchases an abandoned ship at auction with the dream of starting a charter business. As his family renovates the vessel, they begin to discover its dark and mysterious past. On their maiden voyage, terrifying supernatural occurrences isolate them at sea, threatening their sanity and their survival.
